The Everyday Green team consists of experts across the residential spectrum. Our staff have diverse backgrounds in residential construction and mechanical engineering to provide design and construction clients unparalled design review, hands on training, building science consulting and diagnostic testing services.
We’ve been involved in the green building and residential efficiency field as raters and trainers for over a decade and have the proven experience and advanced building science training to take your home to the next level of green. As third-party verifiers, we’re completely independent from product manufacturers and contractors. You can feel confident our recommendations are based solely on building science principles.
Andrea Foss, Founder and Managing Partner
LEED Green Rater, LEED AP Homes, NAHB Green Verifier
Andrea is from a family of builders in Lancaster County, PA where she learned about the construction industry and quality workmanship. Andrea oversees client services helping project teams develop design and construction strategies to build better-performing buildings. Andrea’s experience stems from providing consulting and verification services for over 1,200 residential units including LEED Homes Mid-Rise, multi-family, gut rehab, and production projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Andrea is an expert on LEED Homes, serving as a Green Rater exam writer and education reviewer. Andrea gained her in-depth understanding of LEED working at the U.S. Green Building Council supporting the development of the LEED for Homes, Commercial Interiors and Existing Buildings rating systems.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Environmental Studies from the George Washington University. She is also a member of the Historic Mt. Pleasant Board.
Scott Pusey, Green Building Services Director

Scott is trained and certified in advanced building science and home performance testing. He is an expert in diagnosing home energy efficiency problems and has expanded Everyday Green’s offerings to Pennsylvania to include energy audits and code compliance testing.
Scott comes from Pusey & Raffensperger Builders where he oversaw all green building and energy efficiency testing. His construction and site management experience allows him to easily explain new green building concepts in familiar terms to residential building professionals. Scott is also a BPI trainer and proctor with Building Science Tech.
Scott is a graduate of Rutgers University with a B.S. in psychology where he was also the captain of the Rutgers Swimming &Diving team.
Elliot Seibert, Building Science Specialist
HERS Rater, LEED Homes Green Rater, NAHB Green Verifier, BPI Building Analyst
Elliot is a mechanical engineer specializing in building science and energy efficiency. With ACCA training on mechanical systems design and performance, he assists project teams with proper equipment selection and design. He oversees Everyday Green’s field testing and inspections, providing hands on problem solving and building analysis, as well as builder and sub-contractor training.
Elliot comes from ICF International where he helped EPA to create the ENERGY STAR 2011 New Homes specification, and oversaw residential QAQC programs for utility clients. Elliot graduated from The George Washington University with a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering.
Tom Flanagan, Field Inspector
HERS Rater, LEED Homes Green Rater
Tom performs field testing, inspections and energy audits. Tom has 3 years experience in residential construction and brings an understanding of the common construct problems to Everyday Green. Most recently Tom worked at the U.S. Green Building Council on the LEED Homes market development team where he gained an understanding of green building program requirements, in-field inspections and program development.
